Religion thrives on two lies: distance and delay.
Yet God took the initiative to cancel every possible definition of distance. Emmanuel is introduced to a hostile humanity as the lover of their lives. Their sins did not distract from his extravagant love.
The mission of Jesus was not to begin the Christian religion but to reveal and redeem the image and likeness of God in human form. He did not come as an example for us but of us.
In John 14:20 Jesus announces the conclusion of his amazing mission: his brilliant act of salvation was not to reserve a place for a few in a distant heaven, but to redeem our oneness!
Oneness is not the end result of our diligent striving; oneness is the fruit of his labor and initiative and announces our moment by moment point of departure in this life. Intimate romance is ours now and for all eternity!
Nothing that you can ever do can make you more God’s, and nothing that God can ever do can make him more yours!
Faith is my glorious awakening to the fact that my Maker is mindful of me! He cannot get me out of his mind! Jesus is what God believes about you! Jesus is God’s mind made up about the human race!
Awake to innocence, awake to oneness!
One will never be the same when embracing the message so beautifully communicated in this book as well as all of Francois Du Toit's works. I challenge anyone, of any said faith or religious affiliation to read this book. I have been "saved" since the age of 6 yrs. old. I am now 64. After reading Francois's well communicated interpretation of Scripture through the pages of this book and the Mirror Bible, I can only describe to you that I had a "Road to Emmaus" experience. "Did not my heart burn within me." YES indeed. I will be forever grateful for this resource of unequivocal TRUTH.
